If you are looking to get MORE environmental education either in you class room or closer to home, WARGO is the connection you want to know about. Their professional team of naturalists are available to come into your classroom to do programming pre and/or post your ACNW visit or to enhance any environmental education experience you are giving your students. Wargo Nature Center is located in Lino Lakes, so if they are close to your school that would be a great place to take a day trip. They are a day use nature center with a museum and Minnesota Heritage Lab. Fees will be assessed depending on what type of program you choose. ALSO ... February-April every year, WARGO can come into your class room for FREE to do Wildlife Education Outreach programs.

BRING YOUR STUDENTS TO ACNW AND
RECEIVE GRADUATE CREDITS!

We understand that it takes a lot of extra time to get your students up to the AUDUBON CENTER and because of that we are offering a way for you to get 2 master’s credits for making this experience happen. To receive credits from Hamline University, here’s what we need you to do. Keep a record of how you prepared your students for the trip to ACNW, what kind of EE you taught to prepare them and how did you de-brief the trip once back in the classroom. Each credit will cost $95.00 though Hamline University in St. Paul , MN. The credits can go toward earning a 10 credit master’s level Environmental Education certificate. GRADUATE CREDITS THROUGH HAMLINE

If you are looking for graduate credits, the Audubon Center holds weekend classes in a variety of Environmentally based courses. Credits are through Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. You can work towards a Master's or a 10 credit certificate in Environmental Education. There is also a full Master's program available.
