Arrival and Departure Times
Arrival time depends on the distance you will be traveling, and if you are taking the History and the Environment theme. Generally, schools arrive at 11 AM on the first day. You should plan to depart after lunch on your departure day. If you wish to leave before lunch, we will be happy to provide a bag lunch for you to take with you, if you let us know at least two weeks ahead of time. On the morning of your departure, we will need to have all luggage and personal belongings removed from the dorm rooms by breakfast time so that the rooms may be cleaned for the next group. These items may be stored on the porch outside the dormitory.

Learning Group Size
We like to keep our class sizes small. Class size depends on the total number of students attending the Audubon Center. The ideal learning group size is 15-18 students. In order to avoid conflict and confusion, we require that you create these groups prior to your arrival.

Sample Schedule
The following sample schedule is for a group of 60 6th graders. Schools requesting a particular or complex schedule are encouraged to send the request in a format similar to this along with the Scheduling and Billing Information form.
